Hawaiian Pizza Hotdogs are a fun and easy meal on the grill, perfect for Summer!
I have a slight obsession with Hawaiian Pizza flavors. I’ve made it into mac and cheese, stuffed peppers, and even Thanksgiving stuffing! I pretty much think they’re perfect for any occasion, so why not hotdogs! Fun flavors perfect for an easy night on the grill, sure to please the entire family!
Loaded with chunks of canadian bacon, green peppers, and of course lots of cheese, these are right up my alley. Super simple and super delish, the best combo!
Pat was extra excited about this recipe, not because he is a foodie like me, but because I finally let him use our new Weber Q 1200 Portable Gas Grill. He loves his toys, I love my food. A great night indeed!
The Weber Q 1200 Portable Gas Grills come in lots of fun colors, and makes grilling easy with the awesome size. They still pack a great punch with plenty of capacity and power (you can fit 12 burgers on that thing!). I love that we can easily take it camping or easily use it up on our deck or down on our yard; its just perfect for us! Dill and Scout agree (Dill’s no longer allowed on the deck after his near death experience last 4th of July…but that story is for another day)!
So Pat was happy and I was happy. This is why Summer is my favorite.
He can grill these Hawaiian Pizza Hotdogs and I don’t have to cook.
He has fun and I get to sit back, relax, and EAT.

- 4 hotdogs
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup Canadian bacon or ham chopped
- 1 cup green pepper chopped
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 4 hot dog buns
- Grill your hotdogs to your liking, I like them a bit on the charred side! :)
- While hotdogs are grilling add a bit of marinara to the inside of each bun.
- As soon as dogs are done, place each into a hotdog bun and top immediately with 1/4 cup cheese.
- Sprinkle with Canadian bacon, green pepper, and more marinara.
