This moist and tender chicken is as easy as smothering the chicken breasts in caesar dressing and parmesan cheese. The parmesan helps to thicken the sauce and it all bakes down to cheesy creamy perfection.
No need to even season the chicken because the caesar dressing already has enough flavor to go around!
Only 4 Ingredients:
- Chicken Breasts
- Caesar Salad Dressing (try my homemade recipe)
- Parmesan Cheese
- Sour Cream

This is absolutely wonderful! We make it all the time and it is requested by visiting family members constantly.
I am sorry that you have people commenting/rating that haven’t even made it, or complaining about calories and oil that is obviously based on the dressing that THEY THEMSELVES chose to use! Shake my head…Thank you for your time in managing your page!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it, Ron! Thanks so much for stopping by!
I made this recipe last night after coming across it in my pins. I forgot how amazing it is and my husband absolutely loved it. It’s so easy and the chicken came out tender and juicy. I didn’t broil the chicken it browned on its own and I didn’t rest the chicken either we were super hungry and it turned out perfect!!!
I’m so glad you rediscovered and still love this recipe, Kandi!!
I am only commenting to see what I did wrong but the sauce was all seperated and grainy looking
It sounds like the sour cream/dressing mixture may have gotten too hot. Depending on the brand of dressing you choose, this may happen more or less easily. The best way to prevent it is to add a tablespoon of flour to the mixture!
this is actually SO good & SO easy to make!!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it, Jacee!
I’m leaving 3 stars. The recipe is great, the problem is “they” are adding so much water to the chicken breasts that they are boiling in the oven, not baking. I will try pan going the chicken first next time to remove the water.
Hi Kerril, there shouldn’t be any water added to the chicken breasts, just dressing and sour cream! The fat from both of those should help brown the chicken in the oven!
This Ceasar chicken recipe turned out soo good!!!! The only thing I did extra. was after I pounded my chicken. I soaked it in milk with a few shakes of salt in it for 6hr..Then baked it following your recipe!!!!I also used Paul Newman’s Ceasar dressing..and omitted the sour cream…Oh my it was soo tender and good…Thanks again!!!!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it, Linda!
Made this for Christmas dinner it was so good my son licked his plate clean. Will definitely make this again.
I’m so happy to hear that!
Can this be prepared and then frozen before cooking?
I don’t recommend freezing it, as the sour cream will separate and become grainy once thawed.
I added sautéed chopped onion and minced garlic! Superb so much flavor. Add the onion and garlic! Wow!
Thanks for sharing, Ruthie!
Fantastic! Absolutely delicious! I served this over angel hair pasta. Being someone who is not a very good cook, my husband gets concerned whenever I attempt to make something new. He liked this a lot. I loved it! It’s rare when we both like a dish.
I’m so happy to hear that, Christina!
