SNOW DAY!!!!! we are currently in the middle of the blizzard of ’14 (our local weather reporters like to throw around very dramatic phrases when any snow accumulates). my friend kelly texted me the most fun recipe today…SNOW ICE CREAM. say what?! i had no idea the perfect snow day treat was right outside our front door!
happy Thirsty Thursday!! hope you came thirsty, because this one is delicious!! the tartness of the cranberry, the freshness of the orange, and the coziness of the vanilla all come together for that “welcome to the New Year” type of feeling. delicious!
When Becky and I began this blog over one year ago, she couldn’t cook one thing – not one. I am amazed how far she has come. I was a good cook, but the most surprising benefit of being involved in our blog is I have become a much better cook. I now love the recipe-creation process and this recipe is the result of me stretching my baking wings.
I know this looks overwhelming and time-consuming, but it is all very easy…just many steps. This is a great dessert and you will get tons of oohs and aahs for your efforts.
i still have a lot of holiday recipes to post, so this will most likely be short and sweet. these christmas lollipops are so cute, and taste great. these are a great treat to make with the little ones, or to take to a holiday party. they’re just the right amount of sweetness!
