Officially welcome Summer with a refreshing Strawberry Fields Martini! Strawberry, Basil, Vodka, and wine. Perfection! Such a fun martini with bright flavors and colors, perfect for the hot days to come.
It feels like the streets come alive during Summer. Neighbors are outside, the flowers are blooming, and you can smell BBQs up and down the street. Summer wouldn’t be everyone’s favorite season with delicious food, fun activities, and refreshing drinks! If you’re like us, the recipes for the food and cocktails both need to be simple and quick. No time to slave away in the kitchen when the weather is this nice. One of my very favorite blog partnerships this year has been with Pearl Vodka. I loved their bright flavors and pretty packaging long before I ever met them in person. They’re a Saint Louis company, and we are quite proud to have them bottled and created right here in our city! Luckily for all of you non-midwesterners, they’re available nation wide. You HAVE to give them a try. You won’t regret it.
I love so many of their flavors. You might remember seeing their Apple Pie Vodka in my Apple Pie Punch and their Red Berry Vodka in my Red Berry Sangria. Oh, and don’t forget about Pomegranate Vodka. It made the Pomegranate Moscow Mules SO perfect (and easy). So yeah…I’ve loved them forever. But when they came out with two new flavors this Summer, I really fell in love. Lime Basil and Strawberry Basil. Be still my food blogger heart.
I recently went on Show Me Saint Louis to talk about using these two delicious vodkas in Summer Cocktails, and this was one of the drinks I made (click HERE to see the other, Italian Mojitos!) It was my first time on live TV, and it was SO much fun! I mean…what’s more fun that making delicious drinks at 10:00am?? It’s 5 o’clock somewhere folks, especially on National Martini Day! (cool, right?!)
I hope you love this Strawberry Fields Martini!
It has all of my favorite things: Pearl Vodka, strawberries, basil, and wine!! What’s not to love. Click HERE to find the new Pearl flavors near you! If you’d like to watch my first time visiting Show Me Saint Louis, click HERE. Happy Summer!
