Made with ground beef, rice and lots of fresh veggies, this tomato based soup is seasoned with flavorful herbs and spices.

onion

garlic

ground beef

carrots

cabbage

Sauté the bacon and onion in a large skillet set over medium-high heat.

Add the ground beef to the same skillet and cook until no pink remains.

Add all of the remaining ingredients to the crockpot, stir, and place the bay leaves last on top.

Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 5-6 hours.

Remove the bay leaves, season with salt and pepper, top with Parmesan, and serve.
