Lemon Meringue Pie
Wonderfully fresh and full of vibrant flavors, this classic lemon meringue pie is a show stopping dessert.

Zest and juice a lemon. Heat sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, water, and salt in a saucepan.
Stir in egg yolks, butter, and lemon zest until smooth.
Strain the lemon filling into the pie crust. Cover and chill until set. Make the meringue while the lemon chills.
Boil sugar and water. Add to a mixing bowl and beat with egg whites, salt, and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
Add the meringue to the top of the chilled lemon filling. Bake or broil until browned. Serve and enjoy!
