These raspberry thumbprint cookies are super easy to make and a wonderful cookie to enjoy during the holidays.

what you need:

salted butter

light brown sugar

egg yolk

powdered sugar

vanilla

cinnamon

nutmeg

all-purpose flour

Cream butter, brown sugar, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy, about 1-2 minutes.

Mix in egg yolk and vanilla.

Stir in cinnamon, nutmeg, flour, and pecans until just combined. Don’t overmix.

Roll into a ball and press thumb or teaspoon measurer into the center of the dough to make an indentation.

Fill with jam and bake for 8-10 minutes or until just set. Let cookies sit on cookie tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to finishing cooling.
