Air Fryer Pizza Recipe

These homemade pizzas come out so good in the air fryer, I promise that you'll make them more than once!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • Cornmeal or flour for rolling
  • ½ cup pizza sauce divided
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese divided
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano divided
  • Fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F.

  • Divide the pizza dough in half. Lightly sprinkle your work surface with cornmeal or flour. Roll out the dough into circles the size of the air fryer basket.

  • Cover one half of dough while preparing the first pizza.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick spray.
  • Place 1 circle of dough into the air fryer basket. Lightly spray the top of the dough with nonstick spray. Cook for 3 minutes.

  • Remove the basket from the air fryer (the dough will still look slightly raw) and spread half of the sauce on top of the crust.

  • Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese and half of the dried oregano seasoning on top of the sauce..

  • Cook for another 3-5 minutes, or until the dough is cooked through and the cheese has melted. Times may vary depending on your air fryer.

  • Repeat steps 5-8 with the second half of pizza dough. Garnish with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese, slice, and serve.

Notes

  • Preheat the air fryer before adding the dough. If your air fryer doesn't have a preheat setting, just let it run at 375F for 5 minutes.
  • Use a non-stick spray or oil in your air fryer before adding the dough so that it doesn't stick. Don't use an aerosol spray as this can damage the coating on the basket.
  • Air fryer models can run slightly differently, so timings for the final cook may vary.
Storage: Store leftover pizza in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
