Cook spicy marinated shrimp to perfection with this quick Air Fryer Shrimp recipe. Juicy, crispy, and full of flavor, this shrimp is a versatile appetizer or dinner!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds large raw shrimp deveined, tail on or off
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¾ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Place the shrimp in a large zip-top bag. Add the olive oil, lemon juice, hot sauce, fish sauce, taco seasoning, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper to the bag. Seal the bag and gently slosh the bag around, thoroughly coating the shrimp.

  • Place the bag of shrimp in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to overnight).

  • After the shrimp has marinated, preheat the air fryer to 350°F for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the shrimp from the marinade and place in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Try not to overcrowd the shrimp or they won’t crisp up evenly.

  • Cook the shrimp for 6-8 minutes, until the shrimp has curled up and turned pink, shaking the basket of shrimp halfway through.
  • Remove the shrimp from the air fryer, repeat until all of the shrimp is cooked, garnish with parsley, and serve.

Notes

Storage: Store leftover shrimp in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
