Have a HOLIDAY PIE PARTY this Christmas and wow your guests with fun twists on classic pies! Use your favorite pies to make Deep Fried Pecan Pie Bites and Chocolate Pie S'mores Dip for all of the flavor and none of the fuss.

Ingredients

For Fried Pecan Pie Bites

  • 1 Edward's Desserts Georgia Style Pecan Pie frozen
  • canola oil
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 3/4 cup soda water
  • powdered sugar for garnish

For Chocolate Pie S'mores Dip

  • 1 Edward's Desserts Hershey's Chocolate Crème Pie thawed
  • 2 cups large marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • graham crackers for dipping

Instructions

For Fried Pecan Pie Bites

  • Heat 2 inches of oil in a large stock pot or dutch oven over medium high heat. Heat the oil to 350 degrees.
  • Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, egg, and soda water until smooth. Spray your hands with nonstick spray.
  • While waiting for the oil to heat, use a small ice cream scoop to scoop the pecan pie filling into 1 inch balls. Roll with your hands to create an even look. Use a fork to dip the ball completely in the batter mixture, making sure all sides are covered. Once oil is cooked, cook in batches, 3-4 at a time. Once browned and crispy, remove with a slotted spoon and allow to drain on a paper towel lined plate.
  • Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.

For Chocolate Pie S'mores Dip

  • Turn on the broiler in your oven to 550F
  • Use a hand mixer to carefully blend up the inside of the Hershey's Chocolate Crème Pie. Be careful not to get the crust at the bottom or sides. As long as the pie is fully thawed, this should be pretty easy.
  • Once blended and smooth, top the pie with large marshmallows. Sprinkle with Chocolate Chips.
  • Broil the pie for 1-2 minutes or until the chocolate is melted and marshmallows are toasted. This can happen FAST, so watch carefully.
  • Remove and serve immediately with graham crackers for dipping.
  • Enjoy!
