Cordon Bleu Chicken Pockets are everything you love about the traditional dish, folded neatly into flaky and flavorful puff pastry. You will love this delicious twist on a classic recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry thawed at least 45 minutes before using
  • 2 ounces light cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken
  • 3 slices swiss cheese laughing cow cheese
  • 5 slices brown sugar ham
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
  • mix together cream cheese and laughing cow slices and set aside
  • Unfold sheet of puff pastry onto a lightly floured surface.
  • Spread cream cheese mixture over pastry sheet leaving about 1/2 inch space along the edges.
  • evenly distribute ham slices onto pastry sheet
  • pile shredded chicken onto one side of pastry, leaving 1/2 inch like before
  • Lastly, evenly sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top of the chicken, still leaving a 1/2 inch space around edges.
  • Fold over the half of the puff pastry that doesn't have the chicken on it and seal edges nicely and tight.
  • Place on a greased cookie sheet
  • brush pastry with egg wash (egg whites and a splash of water)
  • bake at 400 degrees F for 15-20 minute or until top is nice and golden brown.
  • Cut into slices and enjoy!
