every good turkey needs a great turkey gravy. this is a must for any complete thanksgiving meal. so easy and delicious. enjoy!

- Pan Drippings fat skimmed off as much as possible from 12-14 lb Roasted Turkey
- 1/4 c flour
- 1/4 c chicken broth
- 1/2 t beef granules opt.
- salt & pepper to taste
- other herbs opt.
Place turkey pan drippings in a medium sized saucepan.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Place 1/4 c flour in a small jar with a lid or bowl.
Pour 1/4 c chicken broth on top.
Whisk (or shake) the flour and broth until all lumps are gone.
Gradually pour the flour mixture, whisking vigorously until well combined and smooth.
Lower the temperature.
Add pepper and salt (taste before adding salt â?? chicken stock can be very salty).
Add other seasonings (opt.).
Simmer until the gravy is the consistency wanted â?? stir frequently.
*If the gravy thickens too much of if you want/need more gravy, add equal parts water and chicken stock. Again, taste the gravy often so it doesnâ??t get too salty.
