This wine smoothie is great for all year round, but especially fitting for Valentine’s Day and Christmas. Made with chocolate wine, raspberries, and almond milk, it combines three very-compatible flavors, has a crisp freshness to it, and is such a pretty-looking drink. Plus, you can whip up a batch in no time!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces frozen raspberries one bag
  • 2 cups milk chocolate wine I used Chocolatier brand
  • 1 cup almond milk optional
  • 3 cups ice optional

Instructions

  • Measure the chocolate wine and optional almond milk in the blender jar.
  • Add the frozen berries and half of the optional ice on top of the liquids.
  • Process until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. Add in the rest of the ice and continue to blend.
  • Pour into cocktail glasses and serve. Try not to drink the whole thing at once. Brain freeze!

Notes

  • Omit the almond milk and ice if you want a stronger drink.
  • Experiment with different berries and fruits; there are lots of great combinations out there!
  • Add a touch of lemon juice if you want it less sweet.
  • Serve with some frozen berries and a straw.
  • Leftovers don't hold well; prepare only what you'll drink right away.
