Ingredients

  • 5 medium Gala Apples I used a few Granny Smith too and loved them!
  • 1 1/4 cups granola
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 5 tsp. maple syrup

Instructions

  • Cut off the top layer of the apples with a knife.
  • Using a melon ball tool or a round measuring teaspoon, scoop out the core and seeds from each apple.
  • Pack 1/4 cup granola into each apple and place into a 6-quart slow cooker.
  • Drizzle the top of the apples evenly with the melted butter and with a teaspoon of maple syrup per apple.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 to 2 1/2 hours until tender but not falling apart.
