Apple Bundt Cake is the perfect way to say hello to autumn! This apple cinnamon cake is topped with a delicious cinnamon cream cheese icing and some cinnamon chips to spice up the season. This apple cake is made with cake mix, so it's super easy and so fun to eat!

Ingredients

For the Cake:

  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 2 small instant vanilla puddings
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup Applesauce
  • 1 1/2 cups diced apple
  • 3/4 cup cinnamon baking chips
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon

For the Icing:

  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 3-4 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • More Cinnamon Chips for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Combine cake mix, puddings, oil, water, eggs, applesauce, apples, cinnamon baking chips, and 1 tablespoon cinnamon with electric mixer. Pour into prepared bundt pan. (Be sure to grease or spray with nonstick spray)
  • Bake 40-45 minutes. To check if its done, you can insert a toothpick. If it comes out clean, its done!
  • Let cake cool on counter for about 10 minutes. Then, invert cake onto serving plate to finish cooling.
  • For the icing: combine the cream cheese, butter, milk, 1 T. Cinnamon, and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl. Blend until fluffy.
  • Once cake is cooled, top with icing and sprinkle with more cinnamon chips.
  • Enjoy!
