Ingredients

FOR THE LEMON CURD CITRUS SMASH

  • 6 mint leaves
  • 4 slices lemon
  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Downton Abbey Lemon Curd
  • 1 tablespoon vodka
  • Club Soda
  • Lemon slices and fresh mint leaves for garnish

FOR THE ORANGE MARMALADE CITRUS SMASH

  • 6 mint leaves
  • 2 large orange slices
  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Downton Abbey Orange Marmalade
  • 1 tablespoon vodka
  • Club Soda
  • Orange slices and fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Place the mint leaves, fruit slices, simple syrup, and either lemon curd or orange marmalade (depending on which flavor you're making. SEE NOTE) in the bottom of a cocktail shaker.
  • Use a cocktail muddler or the end of a wooden spoon to muddle the flavors together and smash the fruit/herbs.
  • Pour in the vodka and add ice to the cocktail shaker. Shake well.
  • Pour in a glass filled with ice, about half way up the glass. Top with club soda.
  • Garnish with fruit slices and mint.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

NOTE: You can use half lemon curd/half orange marmalade if you'd like to combine the flavors. They taste great on their own as well as together!
To make non-alcoholic, simply leave out the vodka and use more club soda or lemon lime soda. Enjoy!
