Print Recipe
- ground cinnamon for the rim
- sugar for the rim
- maple syrup for the rim
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 2 ounces El Mayor Tequila Blanco
- 1/2 ounce cointreau or triple sec
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Mix together cinnamon and sugar. Dip the rim of your glass in maple syrup and then in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Fill your glass with ice.
Mix together the apple cider, tequila, cointreau or triple sec, lime juice, and maple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add a bit of ice.
Shake to combine, then strain into your rimmed glass.
Enjoy!
- If you don't have a cocktail shaker, you can use a mason jar to shake everything together...with the lid on, of course!
- Check that your cinnamon isn't stale by rubbing a little between your fingers, it should release a strong aroma.
- Enjoy immediately so that the ice doesn't dilute the drink.
