Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 300F. In the basket of your air fryer, place your eggs, so they are not touching. Cook at 300F for 15 minutes.
  • Once your eggs are done cooking, place them into a large bowl of ice water. Allow the eggs to cool for five minutes.
  • Peel the eggs and roughly chopped them. Place them into a medium mixing bowl with mayonnaise, mustard, and salt, stir to combine.
  • Serve your egg salad on lettuce wraps or in your favorite bread with lettuce.

Notes

  • Don't let your eggs touch in the air fryer basket. This will allow them to cook evenly through.
  • While your eggs are cooking, fill a large bowl with water and ice to place the cooked eggs in. This helps to cool them quickly so you can handle them, and also stops the cooking process so you have perfect hard boiled eggs.
  • I prefer the flavor and texture of full fat mayonnaise, but you can use reduced fat or vegannaise if you prefer.
