Need a burger in a hurry? These air fryer Juicy Lucy burgers are so easy to make and ready to enjoy in just 15 minutes! Seasoned beef is stuffed with cheese for one crowd pleasing burger!
In a medium sized bowl, combine the beef, salt, garlic powder, and paprika.
1 pound ground beef, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon paprika
Divide the mixture into 8ths and flatten each into a disc about ¼” thick.
Place 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese into the center of 4 of the patties.
½ cup cheddar cheese
Place another patty on top of the cheese and seal the edges.
Spray the air fryer basket lightly with olive oil spray and place the patties into the basket.
Cook at 375F for 8-10 minutes, or until the burgers register 165F on an instant read thermometer (just make sure you’re testing the beef temperature, not the cheese).
Serve with your choice of toppings and enjoy!
Store any leftover hamburgers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
Notes
If you’d like to put cheese on top of the burgers as well, cook them through step 6, then add your cheese on top and cook for another 1 minute. Then continue with step 7.
Don't overwork the beef when you mix it with the seasonings. Everything should be combined, but over mixing can result in tough burgers.
For best results, the beef should be at room temperature when added to the air fryer basket.
If you don't have an oil spray to grease the basket, you can brush oil on both sides of the burgers instead.
Cooking times may vary depending on what model of air fryer you have.
