½cupwalnut butter135 grams
¾cupchopped walnuts85 grams
1tablespooncoconut oil14 grams

Instructions
Combine dates, walnut butter, walnuts, coconut oil, honey, chia seeds, and cocoa powder in a high powered blender or food processor.
1 cup Medjool dates, ½ cup walnut butter, ¾ cup chopped walnuts, 1 tablespoon coconut oil, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon chia seeds, 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
Blend until combined and smooth. You may need to scrape the sides. A very thick batter should form. (SEE NOTE)
Pour batter into a large bowl and, if using, stir in the chocolate chips.
½ cup mini chocolate chips
Place the batter in the refrigerator for 1 hour to allow to chill and harden.
Remove the batter from the refrigerator and roll into 1-inch balls.
Serve or store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
If freezing, double bag in freezer-safe Ziplock bags and freeze up to 3 months. Allow them to defrost in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours before serving.

NOTE: If the batter is too thick and not smooth, add in 1 tablespoon water at a time until batter forms.
Storage: Store walnut brownie protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or in the freezer for up to 1 month.
