This Triple Chocolate Detox Smoothie Recipe is a healthy and delicious way to start your day. When you're stressed or busy, there's no easier breakfast than a smoothie! Why not make it healthy while still tasting good? This healthy Chocolate Smoothie has it ALL, including lots of protein.

Ingredients

  • cup Bob’s Red Mill Chocolate Protein Powder 25 grams (click for where to buy!)
  • 1 cup water 227 grams
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk 227 grams
  • ½ avocado sliced
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder 5 grams
  • ¼ cup finely chopped dark chocolate 43 grams, bittersweet or semisweet
  • ½ tablespoon raw honey 11 grams
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil 14 grams
  • 1 frozen banana chopped
  • 1 cup kale 67 grams

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients into a large, high-powered blender, and blend until smooth. If too thick, add more almond milk or water and blend once more.
    ⅓ cup Bob’s Red Mill Chocolate Protein Powder, 1 cup water, 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, ½ avocado, 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder, ¼ cup finely chopped dark chocolate, ½ tablespoon raw honey, 1 tablespoon coconut oil, 1 frozen banana, 1 cup kale
  • Pour equally into 2 glasses.

Notes

  • Don't have honey? Use agave.
  • Feel free to use MCT oil in place of the coconut oil. 
  • Feel free to use spinach in place of the kale.
