Spicy Garlic Shrimp with Cream Sauce
Garlic Shrimp is a simple, easy recipe to make for appetizers or for dinner. This spicy garlic shrimp recipe is just SO tasty, and only takes about 10 minutes to makes. Serve this sauteed garlic shrimp as a quick app, or turn it into a creamy garlic shrimp pasta. Either way, everyone will love it!
- salt and pepper
- 1 pound raw shrimp peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 tablespoon Gourmet Garden Chunky Garlic Paste
- 1 tablespoon Gourmet Garden Chili Paste
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- Gourmet Garden Parsley for garnish
- Serve with Fettuccini for a full meal
Season the shrimp with salt and pepper to taste.
Melt butter in a large skillet over high heat.
Add the Chunky Garlic Paste and allow to saute for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the Red Pepper Paste and stir to combine. Immediately add the shrimp and stir to coat in the garlic/red pepper.
Allow the shrimp to cook 2 minutes per side, or until almost cooked through.
Add the lemon juice and white wine and cook on high for 30 seconds.
Add the heavy cream, parmesan, and parsley and stir to combine. Allow to cook for 1 minute and then remove from the heat.
Serve garnished with lemon wedges or serve over pasta for a full meal.
NOTE: If you prefer to make these not spicy, you can skip the Chili Pepper Paste. To make spicier, garnish with Gourmet Garden Lightly Dried Chili Pepper.
NOTE: If you don't want to use wine, you can substitute Chicken Broth
