These tasty brown sugar glazed carrots are an easy side dish recipe that is so simple to prepare. Easy enough to make for a family meal but delicious enough to serve at for the holidays and special occasions.

  • 2 lbs. long carrots peeled and cut into thirds
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh thyme
  • 1/2 tbsp. minced garlic


  • Preheat your oven to 400 and prepare a baking pan with parchment paper
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine carrots, cinnamon, garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary, brown sugar, and thyme. Toss to coat. Then drizzle in the melted butter and toss again.
  • On your baking pan, spread your carrots and pour the excess liquid onto them.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, then toss around the carrots and bake for another 10 minutes.
  • Enjoy!


  • Cut the carrots into equal thickness so that they cook through evenly.
  • If your carrots are thicker, they may require a few extra minutes in the oven.
  • Check that your dried herbs aren't stale before you use them, they generally have a shelf like of about 6 months.
