Crockpot Turtle Candy Recipe

Super fun and cute to serve up for Christmas, this turtle candy is made in the crockpot for an effortless sweet treat! Chocolate and caramel covered pecans are topped with festive sprinkles for the perfect sweet snack.
16 ounces chopped pecans 24 ounces chocolate almond bark 4 ounces German chocolate bar 11 ounces caramel bits ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Holiday sprinkles optional
Place pecans, chocolate almond bark, and German chocolate bar into the crockpot
Cover and cook on low for 90 minutes
Stir the melted chocolate to completely coat the pecans
Add the caramel bits, stirring to combine with the other ingredients, and allow to melt for about 3-5 minutes
Scoop the chocolate covered pecans out and place on a sheet of parchment paper, leaving space between each turtle candy
Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave safe container in 15-20 second bursts, stirring each time until smooth
Drizzle the melted chocolate chips over the clusters and garnish with holiday sprinkles (if desired)
Allow to set completely before serving
Use parchment paper to place the turtles on. They will be really easy to remove this way to serve.
Allow about 30 minutes for the chocolate turtles to set in the fridge. If you are in a hurry, you can chill them in the freezer.
