  • 4 ounces of cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • ½ cup of mayonnaise


  • Mix the cream cheese until smooth then add the onion powder and stir until combined.

This potato chip dip can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • For a garlic dip, simply swap the onion powder for garlic powder.
  • Keep refrigerated and don't leave at room temperature for more than 2 hours.
  • Soften the cream cheese before using so it's easy to make smooth. I like to take mine out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before I plan to make this dip.
