Marinate chicken breasts in a zesty cilantro lime marinade for juicy, flavorful chicken!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup lime juice from 2 limes
  • ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoons kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Instructions

  • Whisk the olive oil, lime juice, cilantro, and seasonings together in a bowl.

  • Place the chicken in a greased baking dish.
    4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Pour the marinade over the chicken. Cover the dish, and let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes or as long as overnight.

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Bake the chicken for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F.

Notes

  • Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes.
  • I do not recommend using bottled lime juice, as it has a less fresh flavor.
  • For a sweeter marinade, add 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup!
  • Fully cooked chicken should be 165°F internally.
Storage: Store cilantro lime chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
