Hot dogs are quick and easy to cook on the grill, and they come out deliciously juicy and charred. Pile on your preferred toppings and they'll be ready to serve!

Ingredients

  • 8 jumbo hot dogs
  • 8 hot dog buns

Instructions

  • Heat the grill to high heat.
  • Make a few pokes in the hot dogs with a fork.

  • Turn the grill heat down to medium.
  • Place the hot dogs over indirect heat (not directly over the flames).
  • Grill for a total of 5-6 minutes, rotating the hot dogs every 1-2 minutes until all sides have grill marks.

  • Place the hot dogs in buns and top with your favorite hot dog toppings like ketchup, mustard, relish, and chopped onion.

Notes

  • You can use this grilling method for any kind of hot dog, including veggie dogs.
  • Try not to turn the hot dogs too frequently, or you won’t get those nice grill marks.
