In a bowl, whisk all of the ingredients together until smooth.
1½ cups mayonnaise, ¼ cup ketchup, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, ½ teaspoon ground paprika, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder
Cover the bowl, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors develop.
Yield: This recipe yields 1¾ cups sauce. A serving is approximately 2 tablespoons.
