Glazed Ham Steaks Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (⅛ stick)
  • 16 ounces cooked ham steaks (1 (8-ounce) steaks)

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic, and pepper together.

  • In a large nonstick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

  • Add in the ham steaks and cook on each side until lightly browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  • Brush both sides of the ham steaks with your glaze and cook until caramelized, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  • Remove from the skillet and slice each ham steak in half. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • You need a fully cooked ham steak for this recipe. Boneless or bone-in both work.
  • You can use grainy mustard in place of the Dijon mustard.
Storage: Store glazed ham steaks in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
