Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Combine the apple filling ingredients in a large bowl until the apples are fully coated.
8 Granny Smith apples, 1 tsp vanilla extract, ½ cup granulated sugar, 2 tsp lemon juice, 2 tbsp all purpose flour, ½ tsp ground cinnamon
For the topping, whisk together the flour, sugars, cinnamon, and salt in a separate bowl. Add in the butter. Use a fork to mix into crumble.
1¼ cup all purpose flour, ½ cup brown sugar, ¼ cup granulated sugar, ½ tsp cinnamon, ¼ tsp salt, ½ cup unsalted butter
Pour the apple filling into a greased 9×9 baking dish.
Sprinkle the crumble over the top.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until the filling is bubbling and the crumbled topping is golden brown.
Let the crumble sit for 10 to 15 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
