1 pound bacon cut into ½ inch pieces 1 pound green cabbage with the white center remove and the remaining cut into 1-inch pieces ¼ cup low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Cook the bacon in a deep pot over medium heat until crispy.

Add the cabbage to the pot along with the chicken broth, salt and pepper.
