Place the pork chops on the hot grill and cook for 2-4 minutes per side until you get nice sear marks. They should not be cooked through yet.
Brush BBQ sauce all over the seared pork chops and either return them to the grill outside or place them in a medium-large baking dish.

If on an outdoor grill, reduce the heat to medium-low and continue cooking for 3-5 minutes per side or until the middle reaches 145°F. If you’ve placed them in a baking dish, bake them for 10-15 minutes or until they just reach 145°F internally.
Remove the chops from the heat and allow them to rest, covered, for at least 5 minutes before serving, garnished with fresh, chopped herbs, optional.
