BBQ Pork Chops Recipe

Slather on the BBQ sauce and quickly grill these pork chops for any easy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. bone-in pork chops room temperature (4 chops)
  • 3 tsp BBQ seasoning rub
  • cup BBQ sauce
  • chopped fresh herbs optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to medium heat and grease it well with your oil of choice. If you are using a stovetop grill, preheat your oven to 350°F as well.
  • Rub the pork chops all over with the BBQ seasoning rub.
    2 lbs. bone-in pork chops, 3 tsp BBQ seasoning rub
  • Place the pork chops on the hot grill and cook for 2-4 minutes per side until you get nice sear marks. They should not be cooked through yet.
  • Brush BBQ sauce all over the seared pork chops and either return them to the grill outside or place them in a medium-large baking dish.
    ⅓ cup BBQ sauce
  • If on an outdoor grill, reduce the heat to medium-low and continue cooking for 3-5 minutes per side or until the middle reaches 145°F. If you’ve placed them in a baking dish, bake them for 10-15 minutes or until they just reach 145°F internally.
  • Remove the chops from the heat and allow them to rest, covered, for at least 5 minutes before serving, garnished with fresh, chopped herbs, optional.
