Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Spray both sides of a wire, cooking rack with nonstick spray and place the rack over the baking sheet.
Trim the tough ends off the asparagus spears, cutting so the spears are the same length. If the asparagus has tough outer skin, peel the spears starting halfway down and to the end. (Most asparagus doesn’t need to be peeled.)

Tightly wrap each asparagus spear with ½ slice of bacon and place the spears on the prepared wire rack set over the baking sheet.
6 slices thin-sliced pepper-bacon
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
Rotate the pan, flip the bacon-wrapped spears over, and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes or until the bacon has crisped. If needed, set the oven to broil and broil for 1 minute. Watch closely.
Transfer to a cooling rack and cool to touch. Serve with mustard as dipping sauce.
