Homemade Chili Seasoning

This homemade chili seasoning will add the perfectly spiced punch to your chili recipes! Packed with all the good stuff, like smoked paprika, dried lemon peel and cumin—it's the perfect balance of heat and flavor!

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp ancho chili pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp dried cilantro
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika regular paprika also works
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried jalapeño pepper optional
  • 1 tsp dried Mexican oregano
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¼ tsp dried lemon peel

Instructions

  • Whisk together all ingredients in a medium bowl.
    2 tbsp ancho chili pepper powder, 1 tbsp ground cumin, 1 tbsp dried cilantro, 2 tsp smoked paprika, 2 tsp onion powder, 2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp dried jalapeño pepper, 1 tsp dried Mexican oregano, ½ tsp ground black pepper, ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes, ¼ tsp dried lemon peel
  • Keep in an airtight container, in a cool dry place, up to 3 months.
