Cinnamon Sugar Microwave Apple Chips
Cinnamon Sugar Microwave Apple Chips are a perfect sweet guilt-free treat made in about 6 minutes! A must for those extra snacky days!
- 3-4 apples thinly sliced I used a mandoline slicer, but you can use a knife, just be careful!
- 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1/2 tablespoons sugar
Sprinkle the apple slices with cinnamon and sugar to taste. A little goes a long way!
Place the apples in a single layer on parchment paper and place in your microwave. You will need to work in batches depending on how big your microwave is.
Cook for 5 minutes on high, or until the edges curl.
Flip each apple slice and cook for another 1.5 minutes.
Allow to cool and dry for at least 2 minutes before serving.
- I find that a mandolin is the best way to slice the apples thinly and evenly. If you use a knife, get them as thin as you can, and be careful!
- There's no need to peel the apples, you just need to core them. The skin helps them to get nice and crisp.
- Use your favorite type of apple for these chips.
