This Apple Butter Old Fashioned Cocktail is the perfect way to ring in the fall season! Cozy up and celebrate apple season with the most delicious apple cocktail. This creative recipe puts a festive spin on an old favorite, creating a drink that no one can resist!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons apple butter store-bought or homemade
  • 2 dashes aromatic bitters or orange bitters
  • ¼ cup apple cider
  • 2 ounces good quality bourbon
  • ounces club soda
  • Coarse sugar optional, for rim
  • Apple slices and cinnamon stick optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Place apple butter, bitters, apple cider, and bourbon in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously to combine.
    2 tablespoons apple butter, 2 dashes aromatic bitters, ¼ cup apple cider, 2 ounces good quality bourbon
  • Rim your glass with sugar and fill with ice.
    Coarse sugar
  • Pour apple butter mixture over ice and top with club soda.
