Add the onion and bell pepper to the rendered fat. Cook 3 minutes or until the vegetables have softened. Add the beans, barbecue sauce, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire Sauce, cider vinegar, and brown sugar; stir well. Add the ground beef back to the pan. Taste and season with salt and black pepper; stir to incorporate.
