Frozen Caramel Hot Chocolate

Frozen Caramel Hot Chocolate is the perfect dessert drink! Blend hot chocolate with ice, add some toppings, and you've got the most delicious, decadent drink. Frozen hot chocolate is icy, rich, and so chocolatey!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups ice
  • 2 cups hot chocolate (cooled)
  • 1/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
  • 1 cup Cool Whip non-fat works fine
  • 1/4 cup Rolos halved, optional
  • 1/4 cup caramel chips optional

Instructions

  • Add ice cubes and cooled hot chocolate to a blender. Process until well-combined, adding more ice to create a thicker drink. Place all in the blender together and blend until well combined.

  • Pour into 2 cups or one extra-large mug.
  • Top with Cool Whip, Caramel Sauce, and optional toppings for an extra special treat.
    1/4 cup caramel ice cream topping, 1 cup Cool Whip, 1/4 cup Rolos, 1/4 cup caramel chips
  • Serve with two straws or spoons. Enjoy!

Notes

  • If you are using a lower-powered blender, you might want to use crushed ice, if possible, to get that smooth consistency.
  • This recipe is highly adaptable to many different flavors and brands of chocolate milk. The results will be a little different (flavor/texture/sweetness/etc)
  • Garnish with caramel chips and chocolate chunks.
  • Serve with a straw and a spoon!
