Jello Salad is a great retro holiday dessert that is delicious and easy to whip up ahead of family picnics, BBQs, and other big gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water 907 grams
  • 6 ounces strawberry Jell-O mix 170 grams (2 boxes)
  • 3.4 ounces Jell-O vanilla instant pudding mix 96 grams (1 box)
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract 2 grams
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip 227 grams, thawed if frozen (1 tub)
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries 454 grams, diced
  • cups mini marshmallows 108 grams

Instructions

  • Bring the water to a boil in a pot on the stove.

  • Add the Jell-O and the instant pudding mixes to a large bowl. Add in the water and vanilla extract and stir to combine.

  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
  • Use an electric mixer to break up the Jell-O and pudding mixture.
