Crockpot BBQ Chicken Recipe

Using a crockpot is the easiest way to make BBQ chicken that comes out super flavorful and juicy!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • cups barbecue sauce this Korean BBQ sauce also works
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a 6-quart crockpot.
    2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, and black pepper.
    1½ cups barbecue sauce, 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 2 cloves garlic, ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • Pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the chicken breasts.
  • Close the slow cooker and cook on low for 3-4 hours.
  • Enjoy as is, garnished with parsley, or shred and use for sandwiches.

Notes

To make pulled chicken: Follow the recipe as is to cook the chicken, then use two forks to pull the chicken apart in the slow cooker. The forks should be running parallel to each other, and pulled in opposite directions.
