These tasty homemade hamburgers are so quick and easy to cook in the air fryer! Made with simple ingredients, these juicy burgers are ready to serve in 15 minutes.

Ingredients

For the Burger

  • 1 pound 80/20 ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire or steak sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese

To serve, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer for 5 minutes at 375F.
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix them lightly-- make sure not to pack the beef together too tightly.
  • Divide the beef mixture into four patties-- press them down until they are no thicker than ½”.
  • Place the burgers in the preheated air fryer basket and cook them for 7 minutes.
  • Place one slice of cheese over each burger and cook for an additional minute.
  • Garnish with your desired toppings and serve hot.
  • Store any leftover cheeseburgers in the fridge for up to two days.

  • Preheat your air fryer before adding the burgers so that they cook through evenly.
  • Don't overwork the burger mixture with your hands as this can cause them to become tough and chewy.
