Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. sirloin steak cubed, or use tenderloin, ribeye, or New York strip steak
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth vegetable broth also works
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (¼ stick)
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 oz ranch seasoning (1 packet), or try Italian seasoning, Creole seasoning, or taco seasoning
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • chopped fresh parsley optional to garnish

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients (except the parsley) into your crockpot and stir to combine.
    2 lbs. sirloin steak, 1 cup low-sodium beef broth, 2 tbsp unsalted butter, 2 cloves garlic, 1 oz ranch seasoning, 1 tsp kosher salt, 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • Cover and set to high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8.
  • Sprinkle with the parsley and enjoy.

Notes

  • Choose a tender cut of meat for the best results.
  • Let the meat come to room temperature before cooking so it cooks more evenly.
  • Do not overcook the meat, or it could become dry and tough.
  • Internal Temperature Guide:
    • For rare steak bites: 125-130°F
    • For medium-rare steak bites: 130-140°F
    • For medium steak bites: 140-150°F
    • For medium-well steak bites: 150-160F
    • For well-done steak bites: 160-165°F
