This raspberry lemon drop is one of my favorite fruity cocktail recipes! I wanted to put a little twist on the traditional lemon drop by adding some berry flavor, so I came up with this beautiful vodka cocktail. It’s just the right balance of tart and sweet, and it’s the perfect sip for the end of any day!

A raspberry lemon drop is one of those drinks that just screams summer for me. It’s beautiful, refreshing, and so tasty. The muddled raspberries add a fun and vibrant twist to the classic lemon drop martini, making this cocktail great for any occasion.
What’s in This Raspberry Lemon Drop Recipe?
- Raspberries: I recommend using fresh berries. If you use frozen, just be sure to thaw them before making your drinks.
- Sugar: Muddling the fresh berries with granulated sugar helps to draw out the juice, making it easy to mix into a cocktail. Plus it makes them a little sweeter, of course.
- Lemons: You’ll need these for fresh-squeezed lemon juice to mix into the cocktail, plus you can use the peels and extra slices for garnish.
- Vodka: Use a raspberry or red berry-flavored vodka for an extra pop. I used Pearl Red Berry Vodka, but other brands have similar options too. You can also stick to regular/unflavored vodka for this cocktail.
- Lemon-Lime Soda: This adds a bit of carbonation and some extra citrus flavor.
Tips for Success
- After muddling the raspberries, press them through a mesh strainer to get the seeds out, and to help release as much juice as possible.
- Use a cocktail shaker to mix the ingredients. Simple!
- I like garnishing each drink with a thinly sliced lemon peel and a handful of raspberries.
Serving Suggestions
I love to serve these for a little happy hour or afternoon treat, and they pair perfectly with light appetizers. Serve these raspberry lemon drop martinis with antipasto skewers, grape jelly meatballs, spinach artichoke dip, or bacon-wrapped pineapple.

How to Make Raspberry Lemon Drops Step by Step
Muddle Raspberries: Muddle ¼ cup of fresh raspberries with 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Use a wooden muddler, the handle of a rolling pin, or the back of a spoon to press the berries down until it becomes a puree.
Strain the Puree: Press the muddled raspberries through a wire mesh sieve or strainer to remove seeds, skin, and any clumps. Pressing the berries down will also help release as much juice as possible. I strain the berries directly into the cocktail shaker so it’s ready to use.
Shake: Place all ingredients (the raspberry puree, 3-4 ounces of vodka, ¼ cup of lemon-lime soda, 4 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, and ice (as needed) into a cocktail shaker. Put the lid on and shake vigorously to combine.
Garnish and Serve: Pour your raspberry lemon drop martinis into glasses, garnish with lemon peels and raspberries if desired, then serve.
