Strawberry Pound Cake
This strawberry pound cake is one delicious dessert! Made with fresh strawberries, drizzled with a sweet syrup and finished with a tangy glaze.
what you need:
Half & Half
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time.
Mix in flour, salt, half & half, and flavor extracts.
Fold in the sliced strawberries. Pour into a prepared cake pan and bake.
While baking, make the strawberry syrup.
Poke holes in the bottom of the partially cooled cake and add the syrup. Stir together the glaze.
Once cake has cooled, flip and pour over glaze. Garnish with strawberries. Enjoy this easy and delicious cake for Easter and beyond!
