Wine Margaritas

Combining two of my favorite drinks into the ultimate easy cocktail: White Wine Margaritas!

If you guys couldn’t tell, I have a slight love affair with Margaritas. So far in life, I haven’t met a margarita I didn’t love (I have A LOT of margarita recipes on the site!). There’s just something so refreshing and fabulous about an ice cold marg (served with a big side of QUESO of course!).

I’m also a big wine lover. There’s nothing better at the end of a long day than a few sips of a good wine. So it only made sense to mix both together and create the ultimate cocktail, WHITE WINE MARGARITAS!

Tequila and wine sounds like a strange combination at first, but I’m here to tell you that it just WORKS. The best of the best right here, folks. This white wine cocktail is refreshing, easy, and right up my alley. I’m OBSESSED!

This pitcher cocktail recipe is just perfect for a small dinner party or gathering! It makes enough to serve about 4 people, and it’s easy to make multiple pitchers.

Girl’s Night Cocktail

I made these White Wine Margaritas as a special celebratory drink for my impromptu sleepover with Erin and Christina! Erin is in town to visit Christina, and I pretty much twisted their arms into coming to stay with me one night TO DRINK ALL THE MARGARITAS.

Pat was out of town for work, so it was just perfect. It’s like when your parents leave and you have a party, although I truly never did that! I guess I was waiting until 33 to have my first rebellion! We headed off to my favorite Mexican restaurant and then brought the party back home with this white wine cocktail. Girls Night bliss!

Invite your best girlfriends over, make up a pitcher (or two) of these, and enjoy. It also makes the perfect drink for reality TV night, FYI.

Wine and Margaritas

I’m loving this mashup of two of my favorite things. It’s like they were just always meant to be. Like hot dogs and baseball, Scout and Pat, or wings and beer. White Wine Margaritas will definitely surprise you with how good they are.

They’re super easy to make too. You can make an entire pitcher at once, so it’s easy to serve a group.

  • In a large pitcher, combine the wine, limeade, orange juice, and tequila. Fill the empty limeade can with water twice and mix into the pitcher. Stir to combine.
  • Take a lime wedge and wet the rim of each glass. Dip into sea salt to coat. Fill each glass with ice and pour White Wine Margaritas over ice. Garnish with lime or orange slices.

So simple and so delicious!

Love this! But your estimate of total servings is way off. By my calculations this would make 80 ounces. If you divide that by 4, that means you are planning on 20 ounces for each serving. I mean I am not knocking it but this could easily serve 20 people with 4 ounce servings or 10 with 8 ounces.

Serving them tonight at our Christmas party. I am sure they will be a hit! I’m using regular and like vodka instead of tequila.4 stars

Vodka DOES make a great margarita!!! I’ve found Tequila does not agree with me any longer creating severe headaches.

I wish I could give this drink a sixth star because it is so delicious and it gives you the right buzz. I would strongly recommend everyone to try this recipe! If this drink were to have an official name, it should be winegrita.5 stars

Yum! I want to make this tonight- Cinco de Mayo! Wondering if I could make it, toss it in the freezer, then throw it in the blender for a winerita slushy. If you haven’t experimented with wine slushies, they are my favorite summer time bev.
