This Caramel Frappuccino recipe is everything you need to wake up refreshed! This homemade frappe recipe is a must-make for any caffeine junky.

How to Store
This caramel frappuccino recipe is going to be best right after making it (it will get watery when stored), but don’t let leftovers go to waste. Store in a cup with a lid, airtight container, or sealed jar, and keep it in the fridge for a day. It will be fully liquid by then (any ice will be melted), so I recommend blending it up with more ice to get that texture back. I don’t recommend freezing it.
Serving Suggestions
This homemade caramel frappe is the perfect afternoon or morning treat to enjoy with chocolate peanut butter protein balls, a slice of chocolate chip banana bread, or egg bites.
A Frappuccino is a blended coffee drink made with coffee, milk, ice, and syrups of flavorings. It can be a smooth, chilled drink, or made chunkier to create a frozen, icy texture.
A grande Caramel Frappuccino from Starbucks has around 330 calories (without whipped cream). This “skinny” homemade caramel frappe has under 100 calories per serving!
I use 3 cups of ice for this blended coffee drink, but you can use more or less depending on how smooth or chunky you want your drink.
If you use only espresso, you’ll have a lot less liquid (compared to using cups of coffee), so you would need to add more milk to make up for it. Feel free to experiment with the ratios. You can also add a shot of espresso to the blender with the coffee if you really want a caffeine kick.
Absolutely! You can use any type of milk you like, including oat milk or almond milk. There are also lots of dairy-free coffee creamers to choose from.
Yes! If you have a leftover pot of coffee, store it in the fridge in an airtight container or jar, then it’ll be chilled and ready to make your frappuccino.

Loved this recipe I just added too much ice but I also added an alcoholic chocolate beverage to it. Otherwise it was great
Sounds delicious, Lisa!
Super Tasty! 10/10
Thanks for stopping by and letting us know, Anthony!
I used decaf and this was amazing. Best smoothie I’ve ever made.
So happy to hear that, Gloria!
Where’s the espresso
Using 12oz of strong black coffee!
Can I use instant coffee?
It may alter the taste!
Major question here – being as how I can’t have caffeine (yes it was VERY HARD to get used to, but I guess over time you learn to adjust :( ), do you think I could make this recipe with Folgers decaf? We don’t have a Starbucks anywhere close, and of course McDonalds doesnt make a decaf frappe :/ so I REALLY want to try this if you think it would work…
Yes of course!
Hey, can’t wait to try this, can I used a powder creamer as in the uk it’s hard to find liquid ones
Yes, of course!
I need creamer one morning and my father in law only had powder creamer so I mix creamer and milk together and bam it was good You can try that 💜
How many carbs? Watching my carbs😊
Two grams per serving!
