I really enjoy making homemade salad dressings. I’ve made a Poppy Seed Dressing recipe, a Homemade Honey Mustard Dressing, and Homemade Ranch Dressing. They’re so easy to make, and they taste so much better when they’re made at home. You can create so many different types of salad dressings, and you can always have the perfect one for the salad you’re about to make. Way better than having to use the same dressing on every salad just because you bought a whole bottle of it.

This maple pumpkin dressing is the PERFECT autumn salad dressing recipe. I mean, what says fall better than pumpkin? Nothing! It tastes soooo good on this fried goat cheese and kale salad recipe!

How to Make Maple Pumpkin Salad Dressing

This homemade salad dressing recipe is super easy. In less than 10 minutes, you can have this maple pumpkin dressing ready to use. All you have to do is combine your ingredients in a blender and puree, while slowly adding in the olive oil. So simple!

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup 100% pure pumpkin purée
  • ½ cup cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ¾ teaspoon fine sea salt or kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice see recipe
  • 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¾ teaspoon herbes de Provence or 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 cup good olive oil

Instructions 

  • Combine all ingredients, except the oil, in a blender and process on purée until well blended.
  • With the blender on low, drizzle in the oil and process until the dressing is homogenous.
  • Pour into a lidded, glass container and refrigerate until ready to use. Stir or shake well before each use.
  • The dressing will keep up to 7 days.
  • Enjoy!
